"Not Firely: A drama comedy musical kind of thingy in three acts (plus finale). Written and Directed by LilyBell Snoode (not a cat).

We are looking for actors and actresses to fill the following roles. You may audition for any role; however by auditioning you agree that you will play ANY role you are cast in.

Prior experience not required or even desired. We provide costume, makeup, hair, etc., so you can try for any role you'd like to play, not one you necessarily play like now, or that you 'look' like.

Mal - The ruggedly handsome Space Cowboy
Zoe - The Second in Command. 
Wash - The poetic Pilot (and Zoe's husband)
Inara - The slightly confused Companion
Jayne - The handsome Hired Muscle
River - The Splintered Personality
Simon - The handsome but foppish Doctor
Kaylee - The common but cute Engineer
Shepherd Book - The Man of Wisdom
Adelei Niska - The Bad Guy
Badger - The Cockney Rascal
Reavers - Products of the Pax.
Lovely Ladies (dual roles as whores and companions)
Soldiers (dual roles as alliance, browncoat and "extras")
Operative (must have sense of humor and be able to dance).

About the scheduling

The play will be presented in late June or mid-July. August if it takes that long to cast it and rehearse it. Probably July though .

Tickets (at 1 Linden) will be available in advance, Because usually these things fill the rooms, we will we will do as many productions as we sell tickets for so everyone can see. 

We anticipate rehearsals and the production to be done on a Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, and Sunday afternoon.

We will rehearse scenes separately do you won't have to be around for all the rehearsals necessarily.

We can schedule rehearsals around when you are available, but the actual production will need to have a full run thru  before the show.

Probably on a Friday night, but would be a Wednesday or Thursday.  Depends on when everyone can be there. Probably Friday night or  Saturday afternoon though.

How to audtion
To audition, IM LilyBell Snoodle your name, and your preferred role.  You will be scheduled within minutes to audition. For your audition you will be provided with a short page of dialogue, and also will be asked to improvise a scene with another actor.
